James May & The Dull Men

The show follows James May, who recently discovered the online phenomenon of ‘Dull Men’s’ forums. Now, from his Wiltshire home, shed and pub, he embarks on a ‘summer of dull’, exploring the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Marketing wanted a lot of emphasis on the custom shed that was created for the show, and the haphazard nature of the inventions.

I sketched out multiple blueprints within Procreate, with the final side view being used for the Key Art, which was then put together in Adobe Photoshop.

Deliverables

Standard and Beam Assets were created for the Key Art, along with social posts for both the UK Quest Channel’s and the UK Discovery+’s social platforms. Bump’s were also created for on-air.
